On the capitol grounds, we first prepared the roadway by grading the land for proper drainage, compacting the soil with specialized equipment, then laying down a layer of gravel. Once this underlayer was also compacted for stability, we poured high quality hot asphalt to create that smooth surface. To ensure a beautiful finish and preserve pavement integrity, we also installed concrete edging to the roadway. Our client loved this detail particularly.
